SITELINK Cloud Platform
The SITELINK Cloud Server connects to each SITELINK Interface over cellular or broadband connections. Each SITELINK Interface is supplied with an activated account on the Cloud Server. The account allows API calls to be made to read/write datapoints and manage and monitor the SITELINK Interface. The Cloud Server Console allows authorised users to login and view and manage the interface.

Cloud Server Console
The SITELINK Cloud Server Console allows testing and configuration of the SITELINK Interface from any web browser providing the correct log-in details are supplied. The Console can be accessed during commissioning to allow testing of the connection and the Modbus network.
User Dashboard
The Cloud Console can be extended to include user specified pages. This allows live data, graphs and connection statistics to be presented in a user specified layout. This also allows navigation pages to be added that allow multiple sites to be accessed and managed.
Security
The SITELINK system is designed to provide end-to-end security to the data path.
Cloud Server connections to site can be protected by IPSec or SSL/TLS tunnels. Client connections to the cloud server are via https:// to prevent eavesdropping.
Access to a specific site requires a secure PIN to be supplied to authorise data access. Multiple PINs can be generated with different access rights to allow basic user to have limited read access while allowing engineers full access.
Cloud Server Deployment
All SITELINK Interfaces are initially configured to connect to the public SITELINK Cloud Server.
Private SITELINK Servers can be deployed for customers who wish to install the servers within VPNs, or who require dedicated Cloud based servers.
For applications where the client is local to the SITELINK Interface, direct API calls can be made to the SITELINK Interface, removing the need for the cloud server completely. This solution can also be applied across VPNs where the necessary routing or port forwarding is available.
